Stitching it yourself, you get a much bigger image (about 66 MP, stitched from 21 DNG files), with a lot more you can do with it. What you do not get is a RAW DNG file of the panorama, but instead, you'll get an extra folder called "PANORAMA."Īt first, I wasn't entirely thrilled that I don't get a RAW Panorama file, but once I realized that it's also down-sampled to about 25 MP, I was happy to get the DNG files in that PANORAMA folder instead, because I can just use Photoshop or Lightroom to just-auto stitch it and have a lot more control over final results. Once you do that, you'll still get a JPG of the panorama in the 100MEDIA folder. What I learned was that you have to set to JPG+RAW, while the camera is in panorama shooting mode, and for that to happen, you have to have your drone airborne.

Don’t disconnect the aircraft while stitching because your phone needs to download photos from the aircraft. By tapping the photo you’ve captured, DJI GO 4 will automatically stitch them into a panoramic photo. This new feature allows you to take 360° panoramic shoot, which gives your picture a tiny planet look. Panorama Stitcher on the Mac App Store Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps. Once you have updated the firmware and the DJI GO 4 app, you will be able to select the 180° mode under the Pano mode and start shooting. Make sure that you have installed the latest firmware on your drone and remote controller and the latest DJI GO 4 mobile app in order to use the 180° Pano mode. However, in 180° Panorama mode, the gimbal will keep a fixed central position. In horizontal and vertical mode, if you tilt the camera down, Spark will automatically rotate around the current position to capture photos.
